To implement bilateral cooperation for producing skilled workers, the Rotary Club of River Ayeyawady (RCRA) and the Centre for Vocational Training (CVT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 15 August at the Novotel Hotel in Yangon.
The MoU was signed by U Han Lin Aung, President of RCRA, and Daw Khin Myat Sanda, Chief Executive Officer of CVT. It was countersigned by witnesses U Min Min Htun, President-Elect of RCRA, and Daw Thway Thway Maung, Director of CVT.
According to the MoU, both organizations will implement cooperative initiatives aligned with their respective focus areas. These efforts will include jointly executing mutual projects; sharing resources, expertise, and information; enhancing vocational education and job-ready skills; creating employment opportunities for youth; promoting basic education and life skills; undertaking public awareness; advancing environmental conservation and sustainable development; and fundraising and building partnerships for scholarships, apprenticeships, and community service projects.
The CVT stated that this MoU has established a strong foundation for bilateral cooperation to train and produce skilled workers matching industry requirements. — MT/ZN
