The Kyonkapyin-Tapseik Community Conservation Group (KTCG) has organized a two-day, one-night Wetland Birdwatching and Nature Photography Tour, offering visitors an opportunity to relax while exploring the natural beauty of wetland ecosystems, observing birds in their natural habitats and experiencing local livelihoods.
The tour was developed as part of biodiversity conservation efforts in Wakema Township, Ayeyawady Region.
During this tour, experienced local tour guides who have deep knowledge of the area and expertise in bird and nature observation will accompany visitors. Participants will be able to capture photographs of natural landscapes, water bodies and wetland environments, birds, and the scenic beauty of local lifestyles. Furthermore, they can study the wetland’s natural system, aquatic plants, birds, and other natural resources alongside local guides. Visitors will also be able to enjoy natural beauty by rowing a boat themselves, relax by swimming, and taste fresh local fish dishes.
The tour can accommodate a maximum of 10 people travelling together. For those interested in the tour, visitors can travel by car from Yangon to the agricultural fields, from where a motorized boat will provide pick-up and drop-off services.
For detailed tour information, scheduling, and headcounts, interested individuals can contact 09 250988154 or 09 667298. — MT/ZN
