FRONTLINE Tatmadaw members returning from security and regional stability operations were warmly welcomed at local military units in Yangon Region’s Hmawby, Shwepyitha and Hlegu townships, and Bago Region’s Phayagyi, on Wednesday and Thursday.
The ceremonies were attended by Yangon Command Commander Brig-Gen Tin Min Latt and Southern Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Kyaw Htet, respectively, alongside departmental officials, military officers and families, police and veteran organization members, artistes, traditional dance troupes, teachers, students, and local communities.
They welcomed back the victorious Tatmadaw members with jasmine sprigs of Eugenia and presented cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances.
