FIVE Myanmar companies showcased and sold jade, gemstones, jewellery, lacquerware and garments at the Guangdong and Macao Branded Products Fair 2026 (GMBPF), held in Macao Special Administrative Region, China, from 6 to 9 August, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The fair was jointly organized by the Macao SAR Government, the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of Macao (IPIM), and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce.
Held at the Venetian Macao Cotai Expo, the exhibition featured six zones. The Myanmar companies participated in the Belt and Road Products Zone, displaying a range of traditional and value-added products.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Macao SAR Government, IPIM, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce, diplomatic representatives, and invitees, including Myanmar Consul-General to Macao Daw Phu Pwint Ko Ko.
