Authorities inspected public services in Tonzang Township, including healthcare facilities, schools and electricity distribution, as part of efforts to support local development and recovery activities.
At Tonzang Township Hospital, officials reviewed medical services, the storage of medicines and supplies, and vaccine preservation facilities using solar power. The hospital, staffed by 94 health workers, has treated 60 inpatients, 446 outpatients, 28 minor surgery cases, four major surgery cases and two maternity cases to date.
They also visited Tonzang Basic Education High School, where 4,732 students are attending classes across 63 schools in the township, supported by 271 teachers. Identification cards were also handed over to students under the “Lamin” project.
The inspection team later reviewed electricity distribution operations and discussed measures to improve power supply for government offices and residents.
