ACCORDING to records from the Department of Immigration and National Registration, Daw Phata Mar was born on 23 February 1909, to U Naba Arli and Daw Amar in Ngakhonmachaung Village, Thagara, Yedashe Township. She officially reached the age of 100 on 23 February 2009, and was honoured with a commemorative certificate by the President on 23 July 2015. She currently resides in Myohla, Yedashe Township.

On the morning of 28 July, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited Daw Phata Mar, a 118-yearold resident of Myohla, Yedashe Township in Toungoo District. During his visit, he engaged with her and arranged for the assistance and support she required.

Daw Phata Mar’s large family includes 48 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

According to records for the 2025-2026 financial year, there were 59 individuals aged 100 and above in Toungoo District. By June 2026, this number had decreased to 42 centenarians in the district.
