The opening ceremony for the new building of Thanlyin Township Court was held yesterday morning at the Thanlyin Township Court in Kyaunggon Seikkyi Village, Thanlyin Township, with Chief Justice of the Union U Tha Htay officially unveiling the office signboard.
The Chief Justice of the Union, the Chief Justice of the Yangon Region High Court, and the Yangon Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs officially opened the new court building by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. They unveiled the commemorative plaque, after which the Chief Justice of the Union and officials sprinkled scented water on it.
Afterwards, Chief Operation Officer U Kyaw Thet of IGE Land Co Ltd gave a presentation on the new court building and handed over the relevant documents to the Thanlyin Township justice, who expressed his appreciation.
Following the ceremony, the Chief Justice of the Union and officials inspected the interior of the new building and provided the necessary instructions.
