The Department of Rural Development, under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, disbursed the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project Revolving Fund in Saidoe Village, Mindon Township, on the morning of 24 July.
Township Head U Khup Mun Lian of the Department of Rural Development, Mindon Township, met village elders and project members and explained the objectives and benefits of providing loans under the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project Revolving Fund.
The project officer then explained the instructions contained in the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project Manual and the rules and regulations to be followed when obtaining loans. The township head handed over the revolving fund amounting to K43.4 million to the Village Project Implementation Committee.
Afterwards, the Village Project Implementation Committee disbursed K1.5 million to three agricultural borrowers, K41.1 million to 63 livestock breeders, and K0.8 million to one trader. In total, 67 members received K43.4 million under the current round of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project Revolving Fund on the same day.
