Deputy Minister for Construction U Myo Myint, together with members of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee in Chin State, met religious leaders, town elders and committee members on 28 June.
During the meeting, the deputy minister instructed the need to implement the rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in a timely manner in unity, ensure the stability for villages and region, and also urged the town elders and departmental officials to work together for regional peace and development. Then, he inspected the 300-kVA diesel power station that transmits power to Tiddim. Tiddim is electrified by two 200 kW turbines from Zahlwi Hydropower plant and an 180 kW of the 300 kVA diesel power station.
