FIVE Myanmar students departed for Indonesia on 28 June to undergo pilot training at the Perkasa Flight School under the Pilot Training Agreement between Myanmar Airways International (MAI) and the Perkasa Flight School, according to the Indonesian Embassy to Myanmar.
The five students will undertake the commercial pilot training programme at Perkasa Flight School in Indonesia. The course will last 14 months.
The collaboration between MAI and the Perkasa Flight School is expected to create more opportunities for Myanmar youth to pursue aviation studies in Indonesia. It is also expected to strengthen Myanmar-Indonesia cooperation in vocational education and training, aviation, and human resource development.
