Trainees from the Maritime Youth Basic and Advanced Courses No (1/2026), currently in Yangon, visited the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Space Museum together with instructors and officials.

At Shwedagon Pagoda, officials from the pagoda board explained the pagoda’s history at the southern entrance to the platform. The trainees toured the pagoda, offered flowers and water, observed religious buildings, viewed photo galleries and studied Myanmar architectural works.

The trainees later visited the Space Museum, where they explored the GOTO Planetarium Analogue Projection System, Deep Space Exploration Gallery, Space Station Gallery, spiral gallery, rocket launch simulation model, reentry capsule spacecraft model and VR simulator displays.

Officials also presented science and space-related discoveries through animated visual presentations in the Planetarium Room, where trainees watched the exhibits with great interest. — MNA/KZL
