The Yangon Region Hluttaw Office announced that the closing ceremony for the “Bill Drafting Workshop” and the “Legal Affairs and Hluttaw Seminar” was held on 14 May at Pearl Hall in the Yangon Region Hluttaw Office.
The workshop and seminar were held at the Yangon Region Hluttaw Office from 7 to 14 May.
The workshop and seminar were conducted by retired and serving officials from the legal, judicial, legislative, administrative, and auditing sectors, including former advocate generals, high court judges, a former chief justice, members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, and senior officials from the Yangon Region Hluttaw Office.
At the ceremony, the Yangon Region Hluttaw Speaker and Deputy Speaker presented certificates of honour and commemorative gifts to the distinguished speakers and lecturers, and also awarded certificates of recognition to the members of Hluttaw who attended the workshop, after which a Hluttaw representative delivered a speech of thanks on behalf of all attendees.
Also attending the ceremony were Speaker of the Yangon Region Hluttaw U Htay Aung, Deputy Speaker U Kyaw Kyaw Soe, the Head of the Yangon Region Hluttaw Office, and other relevant officials. — Htun Htun/TH
