The US Embassy to Myanmar announced on 24 March that Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Mr Douglas Sonnek visited the Yangon International Mobility Show 2026 to emphasize the United States’ commitment to ensuring a level playing field for its companies in Myanmar.
In addition, the statement said that they are proud to stand with American businesses in supporting Ford and creating more choices in the Myanmar automotive market.
The show, organized by the Automotive Association of Myanmar (AAM), was held at the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC) from 9 am to 5 pm on 20-22 March.
The exhibition brings together some of the world’s top brands in one place, including Chery, DFSK, Forthing, BAIC, Changan, Venucia, and Zeekr.
