Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR”Condition
According to the observations at 3:30 pm MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” over the Strait of Malacca and adjoining Northeast Indonesia has moved west-southwestwards and start to cross coastal areas of Indonesia.
It is centred at about 305 nautical miles South of Kawthoung (Myanmar), 155 nautical miles west-southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 45 nautical miles east of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and 395 nautical miles southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It does not intend to move towards the Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” is coded as yellow stage.

The Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” is located at Latitude 4.9 degree North and Longitude 97.8 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 998 hPa and maximum wind speed near the centre is 45 miles per hour at 3:30 pm MST today.
Next 48 hours forecast
It is likely to continue to move west-southwestwards morning of 27 November 2025 and thereafter, recurve eastwards and gradually weaken.
General Caution
Due to the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR”, occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 miles per hours. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

People should be aware due to the Cyclonic Storm “SENYAR” domestic aviation, near-shore and offshore fishing vessels, and ships in the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi coast and offshore are also advised to take precautions.
