BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few clouds over the North Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 22 November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Ayeyawady Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon and (southern and eastern) Shan States.

The degree of certainty is 80 per cent. Weather will be generally fair in Chin and Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. In the area along the cumulonimbus clouds, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena. STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in the Deltaic, the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in the Deltaic, the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along the Rakhine Coasts. OUTLOOK FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin and Shan States.
