Dagon University (Distance Education) hereby announces that the date for the 34th Convocation has been changed. This applies to graduates who successfully passed the examinations in Law, Arts, and Science degrees during the 2024 academic year held in October and November and have applied to attend the Convocation.
Accordingly, the Convocation for the following degree holders will be held at the Convocation Hall of Dagon University in line with the revised schedule: the degrees will be conferred on graduates in Myanmar, Philosophy, Oriental Studies, Physics and Mathematics on 5 December.
On 6 December, graduates will obtain degrees of English, Chemistry, Geography and Zoology. Moreover, degrees will be conferred on graduates in History, Botany, Law and Psychology on 8 December.
All participants attending the Rehearsal and Convocation must wear the full traditional Myanmar attire, ethnic costume, or Western formal attire (for men).
Support letters for borrowing graduation gowns will be issued at the Convocation Hall of Dagon University from 1 to 3 December 2025.
The announcement of the 34th Convocation of Dagon University (Distance Education) previously published in The Myanma Alinn and Kyemon newspapers on 24 October 2025 is hereby cancelled and overlapped by this notice.
