MINGALABA, esteemed ethnic people and voters.
I am U Khaw Taint, Secretary of the New Democracy Party (Kachin). Our New Democracy Party (Kachin) is a regional political party founded based on the ethnic nationals residing within Kachin State.
“Vote for the New Democracy Party (Kachin) for the development of Kachin State”.
“Let’s cooperate with NDP (K) for the survival of all humankind”.
Party Objectives
(a) To work hand in hand with the people and build genuine and lasting peace.
(b) To strive for a society that is completely free from armed conflict forever.
(c) To endeavour for equal rights and balanced socioeconomic development among all ethnic nationals.
(d) To strive for the endurance of a Union based on democracy and a federal system.
Beliefs
(a) The party believes in Our Three Main National Causes: “Non-Disintegration of the Union, Non-Disintegration of National Solidarity and Perpetuation of Sovereignty” as a national task. We also believe that we will successfully implement Our Three Main National Causes by carrying out the regional development activities systematically in Kachin State.
Basic Policy
(1) The party will strongly adhere to the policy of enabling all ethnic nationalities in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to coexist peacefully and harmoniously.
(2) Together with the people, the party will establish lasting peace and will work for the interests of the region, the people, and the country based on democratic practices.
(3) The party will oppose and resist terrorism and expansionism in any form that may threaten the State’s sovereignty and regional stability.
(4) The party is a party that does not fall under the influence of any group, individual, or other political party, and can independently shape its own destiny.

In the upcoming multiparty general election on 28 December 2025, the candidates of the New Democracy Party (Kachin) NDP (K) will compete in three Hluttaws like other political parties. The elected representatives will work hard to achieve the national goals of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
As a Kachin State-based political party, the New Democracy Party (Kachin) is deeply committed to contributing in every possible way to the all-around development of the ethnic people of Kachin State in the affairs of politics, economy, education, social, religion, youths, women and government employees and ethnic culture and literature.
