ACCORDING to the observations at 5:30 pm MST today, monsoon will be strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, Tropical storm “Kajiki” has formed over the South China Sea will move westwards and may pass inland areas of Vietnam with the remnants of the tropical storm “Kajiki” may reach to Myanmar and due to the low-pressure area may form over Northwest Bay of Bengal (off Odisha-West Bengal coasts, India) on 25 August 2025, rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway and Sagaing regions and Kachin State and fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan states with isolated heavy falls from 26 August 2025 to 29 August 2025. Squalls with rough seas are likely at time in the Deltaic, the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30-35 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 10-12 feet in the Deltaic, the Gulf of Mottama, off and along the Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
