ACCORDING to the observations at 3:30 pm MST today, a low-pressure area has formed over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coasts, India). It is likely to move west–northwestwards and further intensify into a depression during next 24 hours and cross South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh coasts on 19 August 2025.
