ACCORDING to the 1:30 pm MST observation today, the water level of the Thanlwin River at Hpa-an is observed as about 0.5 foot below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next 36 hours.
It especially alerts the people who settle near the river banks and low-lying areas in Hpaan Township, to take precautionary measure and to stay away from the flood-prone areas in time if the water level will rise.
