BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 3 August 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Magway Region and Kayah State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, lower Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining regions and states with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Mandalay and Sagaing regions and Kachin and southern Shan states. Degree of certainty is 100 per cent.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing and Taninthayi regions and Chin, Rakhine and Shan states. The area along the cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about six to eight feet off and along the Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Moderate monsoon.
