THE State Administration Council enacted the amendment to the Road Transport Operations Law as its Law No 42/2025 on 24 July under Section 419 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
Primarily, the amendment to the law stated the substitution of expressions on titles of departments and ministries, the committee to be replaced with the national committee, and the work committee with the Cross-Border Road Transport Operations Supervision Work Committee.
Moreover, the amendment to the law mentioned fees and fines under the rules, orders and directives issued in accord with this law.
