ROOMS from the further four completed buildings of Thukha Dagon Housing, which is located in Yangon Region’s Dagon Myothit (South) Township, will be provided for the public by drawing soon, said the Department of Urban and Housing Development.
Further announcements will be made on 10 June on which townships and which government institutions are included on the eligible list to draw from.
The public is advised not to fall for scams on the housing rent permit. Thukha Dagon is a public rental housing under the management of the DUHD, and except for eligible tenants and permitted residents, no one else is allowed to live and is prohibited from reselling or re-renting rooms to another person by either payment or non-payment and pawn, and only permitted tenants can stay.
If a tenant breaks these rules, the room will be taken back and legal action will be taken, said the housing committee.
