Russian experts will inspect damage to historic structures in areas affected by the Mandalay earthquake.
Experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences, who are measuring and surveying earthquake-damaged buildings, will collaborate with international organizations on these inspections.
The inspections will include landmarks such as the Shwedagon Pagoda and Sule Pagoda in Yangon, along with internationally recognized ancient heritage buildings.
Engineers from the Mandalay Region Construction Entrepreneurs Association and Engineering Ministries International (EMI) will also inspect damage to historic structures in the affected areas. Additionally, a team of construction experts, including members of the Federation of Myanmar Engineering Societies and civil engineers, is conducting assessments.
