According to the MPT office in Yangon, MPT and Pun Hlaing Hospital have collaborated to launch a free health hotline service using the number ‘2025’, starting from 2 May. This service aims to provide healthcare discussions for people from five regions and states affected by the earthquake.

It is 24-hour healthcare discussions for the quake survivors from the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, Magway Region, Bago Region (East and West) and Shan State (East, South and North).

“MPT has been providing support in areas affected by the earthquake since 29 March, and now it is also offering free services through the 2025 health hotline. During this difficult time, we are especially grateful to our partner organization, Pun Hlaing Hospital, for their collaboration in assisting in the crucial area of physical and mental healthcare of people in the affected regions,” said Mr Naoki Shimane, MPT-KSGM JO Chief Operating Officer.
