The Chinese Embassy to Myanmar donated the office facilities and equipment to the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Chinese Counsellor Mr Li Qianguo clarified the donation.
Deputy Minister U Zin Min Htet, on behalf of the Union minister, expressed gratitude for the donation of office facilities and equipment following the destruction caused by the Mandalay earthquake.
He added that the discussion on Myanmar’s participation in the World Games, scheduled to be held in Chengdu, China, will be submitted to the Union minister. Counsellor Mr Li Qianguo presented the donated items to the deputy minister and received the certificate of appreciation.
