Tatmadaw’s (Air) fighter jet suddenly disappeared from radar and lost communications during a long-distance night training on 1 July 2025, approximately 130 kilometres southeast of Nay Pyi Taw.
The initial investigation showed it was caused by a technical malfunction or bad weather. The authority arranged to send rescue teams to that place despite the bad weather.
