ACCORDING to the observations at (17:30) hrs MST today, the Low-Pressure Area over Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal (off north Andhra Pradesh- south Odisha coast, India) still persists.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Kayah State, scattered in northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, and Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

People should be awared of the heavy rainfall with strong wind, the natural disasters such as flash floods and landslides in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
