ACCORDING to the observations at 6:30 pm MST today, due to the convergence of warm air from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal and cold air from the China high pressure system and the eastern disturbances, development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered to fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway and Ayeyawady regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan states and likelihood of isolated in Sagaing and Taninthayi regions and Kachin and Chin states during tonight to 11 April 2025. Rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan states during 12 to 14 April 2025. Advisory People should be aware untimely rainfall accompanied with Strong wind, thunder, lightning, hails and landslide. — DMH
