A moderate earthquake of magnitude 5.2 Richter Scale with its epicentre outside Myanmar (Nicobar Islands, India Region), latitude 7.62°N, longitude 91.58°E, depth (10) kilometres, about 707 miles southwest of Kaba-Aye seismological observatory was recorded at 17 hours 50 minutes 39 seconds MST on 20 January 2025.
