Land Depression Condition
According to observations at 5:30 pm MST today, the Land Depression has crossed between Yenangyoung and Kyaukpadaung in Myanmar moved north-northwestwards and continue to move west of NyaungU in Myanmar. It is centred at about 15 miles west of NyaungU, 20 miles southeast of Pauk and 70 miles south-southwest of Monywa, Myanmar.
Its present state of Land Depression is coded as brown stage, it could cross between Yenangyoung and Kyaukpadaung in Myanmar.

The Land Depression is located at Latitude 21.2 degree North and Longitude 94.7 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 1,004 hPa and maximum wind speed near the centre is 30 miles per hour at 10:30 am MST today.
Next 12 hours forecast
It is likely to move north-northwestwards and may cross Magway, and Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin State during the next 12 hours and weaken into a Well Marked Low-Pressure Area.
General caution
Due to the Land Depression, rain or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread to widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady, and Taninthayi Regions and Kachin. Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, and Shan States with a likelihood of regionally and isolated heavy falls from tonight to 1 October 2026. Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along the Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 30 miles per hour. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in off and along the Myanmar Coasts.
