Accompanied by members of the Myanmar delegation, Vice-President U Nyo Saw attended the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and the 23rd China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People’s Republic of China. He departed Guangzhou, China, by air yesterday afternoon and arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw in the evening.
The delegation led by the Vice-President was welcomed back at Nay Pyi Taw International Airport by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than, Deputy Minister at the Office of the President U Khin Latt, members of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
On the evening of 18 September, the Vice-President met Myanmar and Chinese businesspeople at the Myanmar Trade Representative Office in Nanning, where they discussed the further enhancement of bilateral business cooperation. During the visit, the Vice-President also visited XPENG and GAC automobile manufacturing companies to observe their vehicles and production processes. During the visits, company officials conducted the Vice-President round the auto manufacturing processes. — MNA/TH
