A B2B satellite terminal provided by Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications has been installed at a branch of Myanma Economic Bank in Falam Township, Chin State, to enhance banking services.
Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Thant Zaw Lwin, accompanied by the Chin State Minister for Natural Resources and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected the terminal, solar power system and completed renovation works at the bank yesterday.
he deputy minister also inspected the renovation of departmental offices, staff housing, Basic Education High School No 2, the Independence Monument and viewpoint, as well as police and Fire Services Department facilities. He also met local companies and departmental officials involved in regional renovation and construction works.
Under the supervision of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, 121 local companies are renovating 208 departmental buildings in Falam District that were severely destroyed by terrorists.
