President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing and delegation members paid homage to Samdech Preah Abhisiri Sugandha Mohasangharajah Dhipiti Bour Kry at the Preah Sihamoniraja Buddha University in Phnom Penh, Cambodia at 8:15 am local standard time yesterday.
The President offered flowers to the Buddha image in the university and paid homage.
The President and party paid homage to the Samdech Preah Abhisiri Sugandha Mohasangharajah Dhipiti, supplicated the religious affairs and sought the words of advice. The Mohasangharajah Dhipiti explained the construction of the International Peace Cambodia-Myanmar Dormitory in Ampil Rong Village, Oudong area, Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia, as a symbol of Myanmar-Cambodia friendship. The President supplicated necessary matters.
The President offered a duplica of Maravijaya Buddha Image and the record book on construction of the image and alms to the Mohasangharajah Dhipiti who returned the gift to mark the Myanmar-Cambodian friendship.
The President and party visited the Buddha University campus. On their departure from the university, students and officials cordially bid farewell to the President and party. — MNA/TTA
