Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a fresh phone conversation on Tuesday, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said.

US President Donald Trump is interested in achieving a breakthrough in the settlement of the Ukraine conflict during his presidency, Yury Ushakov said. Trump talked about the need to end the conflict in Ukraine, which would open up prospects for restoring relations with Russia, Ushakov added.
The leaders agreed to stay in touch and to call each other as it becomes necessary, Ushakov added.
