MYANMAR’S football clubs and players have jointly donated K100 million to support flood-affected communities in Ayeyawady Region.
The donation was handed over to the Ayeyawady Region chief minister on 30 August.
The contribution was jointly made by the chairman of the Myanmar National League (MNL), Shan United FC, Ayeyawady United Women’s FC, Yangon United FC, Yadanabon FC, former Myanmar national team players, current national team players and the M League.
The Ayeyawady Region chief minister accepted the K100 million donation and presented certificates of recognition to the participating football clubs and players for their support of the flood relief efforts. — TWA/KZL
