THE China Cultural Centre in Yangon, in partnership with the Yuanyi International Dance Academy (YIDA), is offering a Chinese classical dance class, with applications now open.
With a well-structured design, the dance class will be led by experienced dance instructors and even those who don’t know basic dance techniques can join. The duration is 14 days from 18 to 31 August, and it will run daily from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Those interested in Chinese classical dance and aged between 16 and 35 are eligible to join.
The class is free, though a deposit of K50,000 is required upon enrolment. The full amount will be refunded to participants who maintain at least 75 per cent attendance.
Applicants may register in person at the China Cultural Centre in Yangon’s Ahlon Township, with a copy of their ID.
As trainee numbers are limited, registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The office is open from 9 am to noon, Tuesday to Saturday. For further information, enquiries can be made via 01 2302631 and 01 2302632.
