Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein received UNDP Resident Representative to Myanmar Mr Norimasa Shimomura at the Union Minister’s Office Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
They exchanged views on the UNDP’s “Community Recovery and Resilience Project” that has been implemented since 2023, with the Rural Development Department under the Ministry acting as the Technical Focal Point, the cooperation with relevant partner organizations on project activities, including earthquake response activities, and plans for continued cooperation.
