THE reciprocal visa exemption agreement between Myanmar and Belarus came into effect on 8 July, allowing citizens of both countries holding valid passports to travel visa-free for up to 30 days per visit, with a maximum stay of 90 days in a calendar year, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agreement was signed by the two governments on 28 November 2025 and officially entered into force on 8 July, the Embassy of Myanmar to Belarus (Ottawa) announced. Travellers must comply with the host country’s existing laws during their stay.
