The Asia Video Industry Association – AVIA Policy Round Table 2026 was held on 16 June at the Mulia Resort in Bali, Indonesia, bringing together regulators, legal and policy experts from authorities in the Asia-Pacific region.
The conference was organized in four sessions: Economic Impact, AI and Content, Online Safety, and Horizon Scanning.
AVIA is a non-profit organization for the Asia-Pacific video and streaming industry, representing leading broadcasters, streaming platforms, and content creators. The forum, which brings together approximately 50 technology service providers and professional services companies, is working to strengthen the multi-channel video industry based on cable, satellite, broadband and wireless networks, promote innovation and promote sustainable development.
It delivers video services, connectivity and content to hundreds of millions of households in the Asia-Pacific region. The discussion focused on policies and regulations affecting the broadcasting and video industries and was attended by U Ye Naing, Director-General of the Myanmar Radio and Television, and his team.
