THE Chinese Embassy in Yangon will hold a ceremony to open the 2026 China Film Festival at JCineplex, Ottarathiri Mall, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday evening, aiming to promote closer friendship, cultural exchange and people-to-people exchanges between Myanmar and China.
From 9 to 11 June, interesting films will be screened for free at 4:30 pm, with two films per day.
The programme will screen the films The Battle of the Gods and The Dreamcatcher on 9 June, The Truth of the Blood and The Life of the Wind on 10 June and The Royal Lychee of Chang’an and Her Life Story on 11 June. — MNA/MKKS
