AUTHORITIES demolished three more illegal three-storey buildings in Shwe Kokko yesterday as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle structures linked to online scam and gambling activities.
The buildings were among 77 structures identified for demolition in the Shwe Kokko and KK Park areas. With the latest action, a total of 36 buildings have been dismantled, while demolition of the remaining 41 structures will continue.
Officials said the campaign aims to prevent the re-establishment of online scam operations and forms part of broader anti-scam measures being implemented in cooperation with relevant domestic and regional stakeholders.
