THE Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Tachilek Township, Tachilek District, Shan State (East), held a township-level review meeting on the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project at its meeting hall yesterday. The meeting was aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of project implementation and sharing experiences gained during project activities in the 2026-2027 financial year.


Deputy Township Administrator U Chit Ko Ko Win of the Tachilek Township General Administration Department and District Head Daw Amar Lwin delivered remarks. Daw Lei Lei Thein, Head of the Tachilek Township Department of Rural Development, explained the objectives of the review meeting and clarified matters related to the implementation of project activities.


Members of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project committees attending the meeting formed groups and presented reviews on strengths, weaknesses and challenges encountered during the financial year. Members of the district and township-level project implementation teams coordinated and provided necessary guidance on the issues discussed.


The review meeting was attended by district and township-level departmental officials, members of the Mya Sein Yaung Village Project from 77 villages under 57 village units, and invitees.
