UNDER the programme organized by the Ministry of Health, a medical team comprising senior specialists from Yangon General Hospital and the Yangon 500-Bed Specialist Hospital will provide free medical treatment at Pathein General Hospital for two days, from 30 to 31 May.
Participating specialists include professors/heads of departments like cardiology, diabetes and endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, neurology and neurosurgery from these two hospitals.
Moreover, professors/senior specialists from thoracic medicine, nephrology, oncology, pediatric oncology, and pediatric neurology from the above two and Yangon Children’s Hospital will also join the programme.
Patients who are going to receive medical checkups can register by providing their name, age, address, and the specialist they wish to consult at the reception desk located at the Outpatient Department (OPD) entrance of the Pathein General Hospital Emergency Unit.
According to an announcement by the Pathein Hospital, patients do not need to appear in person to register. — MT/ZN
