BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and weather has a few clouds to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 26 May 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Yangon, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Shan States and scattered in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated of heavy falls in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing , Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, southern Shan States. In the area along the cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied by rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance of these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: The sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
