The graduation ceremony for News Media Training Course 7/2026, organized by the Media Development Committee of the Myanmar Press Council, was held on 22 May at the Myanmar Press Council office in Botahtaung Township, Yangon Region.
The training course covered subjects including media literacy, ethics and professionalism in journalism, media and international affairs, news translation, digital literacy, printing and publishing, media law, media and Myanmar’s image, and media and human rights. The subjects were taught by eight experienced instructors with expertise in their respective fields.
A total of 30 trainees from government departments, private news journals, and news agencies attended the course lectured by eight experienced trainers.
The Media Development Committee of the Myanmar Press Council will continue to organize news media training courses in the future. — ASH/KZL
