Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr Charlie Than yesterday inspected the step-by-step production processes of konjac-based beverages, konjac jelly, and dried konjac noodles at Shwe Oo Konjac Food Business in Nganzat Village, Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
During the inspection, he instructed that, as a food production business, the company must strictly follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines and that stronger links should be established between experts conducting research and MSME entrepreneurs to facilitate manufacturing operations.
Afterwards, the Union minister inspected an ongoing training session on implementing best practices for MSME success, held at Office No 30, as well as the production of bamboo chopsticks at Mr Bamboo High-Quality disposable bamboo chopsticks factory in Ottarathiri Township. — MNA/TH
