The Myanmar Press Council’s Media Development Committee will conduct the Media Training Course 7/2026 from 18 to 22 May at the Myanmar Press Council office in Botahtaung Township.
Members and experts from the Myanmar Press Council, together with external specialists, will serve as instructors for the course. The training sessions will be conducted daily from 10 am to 3 pm.
During the course, U Khin Maung Aye (KMA) will lecture on media literacy, U Tin Maung Oo on media and the qualities of a good journalist, U Khin Maung Zaw on media and international affairs, U Maung Maung Myint Thein on news translation, U Thiha Baw Zan on digital literacy, a representative from the Copyright and Registration Department on printing, publishing and media law, U Khin Maung Kyaw Din on media and Myanmar’s image, and a representative from the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission on media and human rights.
