THE Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture has written and published Volume 1 of the Continuous Myanmar Historical Series, featuring the newly discovered findings from field surveys, excavations, and research on Myanmar’s geological formation, primate fossils, and Stone Age, Bronze Age, and Iron Age cultures, as well as scientifically determined dating results. It has been reviewed and edited by the Myanmar Historical Commission.

Copies of Volume I were distributed to libraries of State-level organizations, ministries, departments, universities, degree colleges and colleges, training schools, as well as regional and state governments. The copies of the book are being kept at the National Libraries and the national museums in Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw, and the libraries of branches of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum.

Volume 1 of the Continuous Myanmar Historical Series is available at K55,000 per copy at branches of the Department of Archaeology and National Museum. The department arranges sales of the book at private literary houses.
