STARTING from 1 May, the YBS27 bus line, which is under the management of Trans Link Co, has been extended to Thukha Dagon Housing for a more convenient commute.
Under the extended route, the bus journey starts from Thukha Dagon Housing and ends at Mingala Market after passing Thabyagyan junction, mental health hospital, Dagon University, 7/8 junction, 46 junction, Khema, Bailey, Ka-Nya-Na office, Yadana Road, Kyaukkon, Tamway Market and Yuzana Plaza.
“The expansion of the bus route is good and more convenient for commuters. But it takes about 30 minutes to wait between buses, so we want the bus line to run more buses,” said a bus passenger.
Buses will run at 10-20-minute intervals during the schedule from 5 am to 4:30 pm for passengers do not have to wait for long.
The previous route started at the mental health hospital to Min Ye Kyaw Swa Road, ward 133, Dagon University, Pyidaungsu Road, Bohmu Ba Htoo Road, U Wisara Road, Bailey-Thanthuma Road, Yadana Road, Moegaung Road, East Horse Race Course Road, Kyaikkasan Road, Yuzana Plaza and Mingala Market. — MT/ ZS
